I included this song on the album as a tribute to the late guitarist Jack Fragomeni. I first met Jack when I was a student at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY where he was a professor. Over the course of my four years at the college I got to know him not only as an incredible musician but as an even more amazing human being. Our very first gig together was my senior recital where we performed, "Invitation." In the years since, Jack and I performed together more times than I can remember and we almost always played this tune.
